ParaType's own take on Times New Roman, extended across Cyrillic, Greek, Armenian and Georgian.

About

Newton began life in 1990 as TimesET, an old-style-influenced reworking of Times New Roman built at ParaGraph for multi-script use. Its five styles cover books, reports and general office documents as readily as display and advertising. Unremarkable by design, which is exactly the point of a text serif this widely used.

Classification

ParaType's Cyrillic-extended take on Times New Roman, originally released under the name TimesET, places it as a transitional text serif.
