FixStyle specimen from ParaType

A bold, modular display face with rectangular pixel-like cutouts, released in 2006 by Alexey Chekulaev at Double Alex Font Studio, based on Takafumi Miyadima's Poliester (1998).

About

The letterforms are built on a strict grid with right-angle terminals and square negative-space cuts that give the face a pixelated, mechanical quality. Six styles span three widths – Regular, Condensed and Extended – each with an italic, making it workable across headline and poster contexts. It derives from Miyadima's 1998 Poliester but redraws the concept through a denser, heavier lens.

Classification

The specimen shows a bold, square-edged sans with pixel-like rectangular cutouts and modular geometry, giving a distinctly display character. The hard right-angle terminals and stencil-adjacent construction place it firmly in decorative geometric display territory.
