A 1992–1993 geometric sans from TypeMarket, drawing on the squared, rounded forms of Novarese's Eurostile, offered in 16 styles including condensed, extended and shadow variants.
About
Designed by Alexander Kustov at TypeMarket between 1992 and 1993, Europe follows the square-rounded template established by Aldo Novarese's Eurostile (Nebiolo, 1962). The family spans three widths – Condensed, standard and Extended – across Book, Demi Bold and Bold weights, each with obliques. Shadow Demi cuts add a decorative dimension to the range.
Classification
The specimen shows a low-contrast, monolinear sans with squared-off rounded forms – characteristic of the Eurostile/square-gothic tradition. Open counters, wide proportions and uniform stroke weight confirm a geometric sans classification.
