A single-weight high-contrast display serif designed at SoftUnion in 1995, with sharp hairline serifs and notched stroke terminals giving it a fashion-magazine character.
About
The letterforms show extreme thick-thin contrast with near-hairline serifs and a distinctive notched cut into the thick strokes, visible on the capital D and lowercase letters. The overall tone sits between a didone and an editorial display face, suited to poster and magazine headline work. Only a Regular style is available.
Classification
The specimen shows a high-contrast serif with very sharp, thin serifs, pronounced thick-thin stroke variation and distinctive notched terminals on strokes such as the capital D – characteristics of a display-oriented, fashion-inflected design rather than a text typeface.
