sans-serifcondensed grotesqueitalic
CyberCyr specimen from ParaType

A condensed grotesque designed by Alexey Chekulaev in 1997, based on the logotype of an unnamed British magazine, available in three weights with italics.

About

Designed at Double Alex Font Studio, CyberCyr draws its letterforms from a British magazine logotype, giving it a narrow, even-stroked quality suited to display use. Six styles span three weights – Regular, Bold and Black – each with a matching italic. The Cyrillic coverage reflects ParaType's distribution focus.

Classification

The specimen shows a narrow, upright grotesque with uniform stroke weight and tight letterfit. The condensed proportions and clean terminals place it firmly in the grotesque sans-serif tradition.
