A single-weight formal script drawn at Double Alex Font Studio in 1993, derived from Richard Ware's Regency Script for Casady & Green.
About
Designed by Alexey Chekulaev and rooted in Ware's 1986 Regency Script, the typeface carries the hallmarks of formal copperplate tradition: high stroke contrast, looped ascenders and elaborately flourished capitals. Only a Medium weight is available. The name suggests Cyrillic coverage alongside Latin.
Classification
The specimen shows a flowing, high-contrast cursive with looped ascenders, swelling strokes and decorative flourishes on capitals, characteristic of formal copperplate-derived script. Based on Regency Script, itself a formal penmanship-style typeface.
