Aphrosine sits between casual handwriting and formal calligraphy, drawing on the pointed pen tradition. A large set of alternates, discretional ligatures and swashes works through OpenType features to reduce the repetition typical of digital scripts. Released by ParaType in 2015 in three weights: Light, Regular and Bold.
