OS Kolia Biama specimen from O’Plérou Studio

A spiked, aggressive display face whose strokes extend and claw past their own edges.

About

Kolia Biama comes in three weights, Razor, Dagger and Scythe, and is drawn to be anything but polite. Discretionary ligatures and an Extra Spike feature make it more aggressive still, while the Serene alternates calm the bars down to straight lines. Its natural home is album covers, posters and titles. 419 glyphs.

Classification

A sharp display face with calligraphic contrast, spurred and spiked terminals and hooked strokes that reach past their own letters. Serene alternates swap in straight bars and resolved geometry; an Extra Spike feature pushes some glyphs further.
