Valman
NoonFont · Hossein Heidari, Mahdi Ershadi · 2025

A high-contrast geometric display typeface for Persian and Arabic script, available in one weight across five widths with variable font support.
About
Valman began as a logotype exercise for a branding project, where thick vertical strokes and circular corner curves produced a distinctive contrast rhythm. The design applies Latin structural conventions to Arabic script, compressing letter-height differences for a compact, uniform texture suited to headlines, packaging and signage. It ships as a variable font spanning five widths, and includes Persian, Arabic and English numerals alongside Rial and Toman currency symbols.
Classification
A high-contrast geometric display typeface with thick verticals and thin horizontals, structured to resemble Latin proportions. Designed for short, presentational use rather than continuous text, placing it firmly in the display category.
