Rahrovan
NoonFont · Abolfazl Rahrovan · 2025

A single-weight Arabic display typeface by Abolfazl Rahrovan, translating the designer's personal calligraphic hand into a digital font covering Persian and Arabic.
About
The typeface preserves the fluid, free-flowing character of its creator's graphic work, where letterforms connect outside the conventions of standard Arabic type. Built on Naskh calligraphic principles, delicate lines and harmonious joins make it most effective at large display sizes. Released through NoonFont in November 2025, it represents a digitisation of a long-standing personal lettering practice.
Classification
A display script rooted in the Naskh calligraphic tradition, characterised by fluid, free-flowing letterforms and delicate connecting strokes. The designer's personal approach allows letters to join outside conventional font rules, giving it a hand-crafted calligraphic quality.
