Conceived for the fashion industry, Doran draws its formal vocabulary from Thuluth's bold, commanding strokes while allowing the flowing sensibility of Nastaliq to soften its underlying structure. The result is a typeface dense with curves and strong stroke contrast, suited to editorial headlines and luxury branding. Persian, Arabic and Urdu glyphs were developed between 2019 and 2024; Armenian glyphs followed in 2025, while the Latin set is drawn from the open-source Fraunces typeface.
