Atabay
NoonFont · Hadi Arjmand · 2026

A three-weight Persian display typeface drawn in a brush-and-ink style, with spontaneous, organic letterforms that break from conventional Persian connection systems.
About
Originally created as a personal typeface by Hadi Arjmand to give his graphic work a distinctive visual identity, Atabay captures the improvisational energy of brush calligraphy through letters drawn individually and joined digitally. The designer deliberately avoids the standard connection conventions of Persian fonts, lending the typeface an irregular, hand-drawn quality. Available in a three-weight Pro edition and a single-weight Eco edition, it is suited to poster, cover and editorial display contexts.
Classification
A display typeface in a brush-and-ink style designed for Persian script, with expressive, spontaneous letterforms drawn individually and connected digitally. Its handwritten energy and non-mechanical construction place it firmly in the display brush script category.
