neue Vektor CNC specimen from Neue

A narrow geometric sans with rounded stroke endings drawn from the engraved lettering found on German industrial goods such as drills, nameplates and infrastructure plaques.

About

Part of the neue Vektor series alongside variants A and B, this cut shares the same 14 styles, 1,000-plus glyphs per style and OpenType feature set but adopts a slightly narrower width and rounded terminals to evoke CNC-engraved signage. The result sits between functional austerity and approachability, making it well suited to wayfinding, packaging and app interfaces. Support for 90-plus Latin-based languages and an extensive set of arrow and alpha-numeric enclosure glyphs add practical range.

Classification

A narrow, rounded-terminal geometric sans-serif derived from German industrial engraving conventions — CNC-machined lettering found on nameplates, drills and infrastructure. Shares character set and proportions with neue Vektor A and B but is drawn slightly narrower with rounded stroke endings.
