A heavy modular display face from Natasha Lucas and MuirMcNeil, built from semicircles and stems with half-moon counters.
About
Minke sits between Orca and Beluga in the trio Natasha Lucas drew with MuirMcNeil. Bowls are full half circles joined to straight stems, and thin white cuts separate the parts so each letter reads as a set of interlocking shapes. Set big, it has a rolling, rounded rhythm that works on posters, covers and signage.
Classification
Minke is a single-style modular display face that pairs full semicircles with upright stems, opening counters into half-moon shapes and leaving white incisions where strokes meet.
