About
Kai Büschl built LD Moderne Antiqua around an idea from his student years: rather than just adding a bold to a modern-style serif, he gave it a genuine slab-serif companion. Display, Subhead and Regular are cut as true optical sizes so the high-contrast forms hold up at different reading distances, while Medium, Bold and Heavy handle emphasis within running text.
