Suspiria
Latinotype · Felipe Sanzana, Latinotype Team · 2026

A grotesque sans-serif in eight weights that favours character and tension over neutrality, with rounded terminals, marked angles and tense diagonals built for headline and identity work.
About
Designed by Felipe Sanzana and the Latinotype team, Suspiria features uppercase letters with a high optical centre and wide, robust lowercase forms. At the Black weight, some terminals touch and spacing tightens to produce dense, visually powerful blocks. With 530 glyphs including an arrow set, the family is pitched at headlines, identities and graphic systems.
Classification
A grotesque sans-serif with rounded terminals and a subtle flare, marked angles and tense diagonals. The design draws from early grotesque traditions while pushing forms toward tension and character rather than neutrality.
