Queulat Soft
Latinotype · Jorge Cisterna · 2016

A 48-style sans-serif family by Jorge Cisterna blending Grotesque structure with Modern teardrop terminals, offered in standard and condensed widths with standard and alternate character sets.
About
Queulat Soft is a softened variant of the Queulat family, retaining its hybrid character while introducing rounded terminals throughout. The design draws on Modern-style teardrop terminals for decorative distinctiveness and Grotesque rationality for structural stability, making it suited to logotypes, labelling and display headings. An alternate subfamily introduces additional Modern features such as teardrop terminals on the 'k' and 'v', offering a more ornate option within the same system.
Classification
A sans-serif that blends Modern and Grotesque influences, combining teardrop terminals drawn from the Modern tradition with the rational structure of Grotesk letterforms. The soft version distinguishes itself from the base Queulat family through rounded terminals.
