Infamy specimen from Latinotype

A four-layer display family by Santiago Sancha drawing on the bubble-letter graffiti tradition of early American subway and street art.

About

Each of the four styles functions as a separate layer – Size, Outline, Highlight, Shadow and Fill – intended to be stacked for colourful, shaded lettering. The OpenType version includes multiple ligatures for compositional variety, and pictorial character faces replace small caps as a nod to the playful, irreverent spirit of graffiti culture. Tight tracking and horizontal alignment replicate the visual conventions of hand-sprayed lettering.

Classification

A layered display typeface based on graffiti bubble lettering. Its four styles (Size, Outline, Highlight, Shadow, Fill) are designed to be composited for chromatic effects, placing it firmly in the display category.
