Fibra
Latinotype · Jorge Cisterna · 2017

A geometric sans from Jorge Cisterna that borrows the spirit of Avant Garde whilst deliberately breaking its structural rigidity through contrasting curves, exaggerated terminals and distinctive display details.
About
Fibra splits into two subfamilies: Basic, which restrains the more idiosyncratic features for subheadings and formal text use, and Alt, which exhibits the full range of quirks suited to headlines, posters and logotypes. Both share a generous x-height that aids readability at text sizes despite the display origins. Each subfamily offers seven weights from Thin to UltraBold with matching italics, totalling 28 styles across the full family.
Classification
Geometric sans-serif in the spirit of Avant Garde, but with deliberate structural irregularities – contrasting curves and straight strokes, exaggerated terminals and distinctive display details distinguish it from orthodox geometric designs.
