About
Melange Grotesk draws on the rationalist approach of designers like Walter Käch alongside the optical warmth of late-1950s neo-grotesques such as Helvetica and Univers. Slightly geometric proportions, low contrast and open terminals produce an even texture at text sizes, while the letterforms hold individual character at display sizes. The family spans 12 weights from Hairline to Extra Black, each with an italic, and ships with a broad set of OpenType alternates including schoolbook forms and round punctuation.
