About
Xree Mai builds on the earlier Xree typeface by introducing connecting strokes at the points of high contrast, a structural change that increases legibility while retaining the dramatic weight variation of its predecessor. The family is available in Poster and Italic cuts. Designed by Stawix Ruecha, Parin Rungpattarathakun and Suppakit Chalermlarp and released in January 2018.
Classification
A high-contrast Thai display typeface with connecting strokes between contrast points, developed as an extension of the Xree family. The added connective strokes distinguish it from its predecessor and improve legibility at display sizes.
