About
Remoto is a broad, round geometric sans that the foundry describes only as reminiscent of widely used typefaces; in practice it sits close to Gotham. The thin weight is airy and elegant, while the black is chunky enough for logos and posters. It covers much the same ground as the foundry's JT Leonor with fewer weights.
Classification
Broad capitals, round bowls and low stroke contrast put it in the American geometric group alongside Gotham and its many followers. The italics are slanted romans rather than cursive forms.
