A display typeface whose sharp edges, abrupt cuts and tapered strokes are formally derived from the pakupyâ circumflex accent used in Philippine orthography.
About
The design takes its cue from the pakupyâ accent mark, which guides the pronunciation of Filipino words carrying simultaneous stress and glottal stop in the final syllable. That tapered, angular form propagates throughout the character set as sharp terminals, swift strokes and sudden cuts. Three widths — Narrow, Medium and Wide — extend its range without diluting the original concept.
