MegaMegaTypeType
A bilingual Arabic and Latin typeface in five weights, built on Kufi geometric principles with a clean, uniform character.
About
Shaheen Pro is the second release of the Shaheen family, pairing Arabic and Latin scripts under a shared visual logic emphasising structural consistency and minimalism. Its name references a bird of prey, gesturing at the assertive weight and presence the design carries across five weights from Light to Black. The Kufi geometric approach gives the Arabic letterforms a disciplined regularity that aligns naturally with the accompanying Latin.
Classification
Classified as a geometric sans-serif based on its Kufi category tag and described tendency towards uniformity and minimalism. Kufi Arabic types share structural regularity and geometric construction, placing Shaheen Pro in this tradition.
