A spurless, monolinear Latin sans with swelling diagonals and open counterforms, designed by a Paris-based trio and released in six weights with matching italics.
About
Diodrum's defining feature is its spurless construction, where stems meet curved strokes without abrupt transitions, producing a smooth, contemporary texture. Its tall x-height and generous counterforms support legibility at small sizes, making it well-suited to screen and UI applications. The outward-swelling diagonals on letters such as A, V and W add a subtle dynamism that prevents the design from reading as purely neutral.
Classification
A spurless, broadly monolinear sans with a tall x-height and open counterforms, placing it in the humanist sans tradition despite its geometric leanings. The outward-swelling diagonals add warmth and dynamism characteristic of humanist design. Also sold in Arabic, Cyrillic, Greek versions.
