The collection spans five distinct personalities: a connecting script with bounce and automatic ligatures, an interlocking roman with nearly 1,400 ligatures for wordmark construction, an animated upright roman, a gothic and a brush face. Clever font engineering handles continuous character connections, twin-letter variants and alternate forms without manual intervention, preserving the hand-done quality Benguiat's lettering is known for. A decorative dingbat font, Bengbats, rounds out the family.
