A slanted modern script with a high x-height, five weights and extensive alternate sets aimed at logos, packaging and editorial use.
About
East Bay sits between casual brush scripts and formal cursives, with a pronounced slant and high x-height that keeps it readable at small sizes. Five weights from Regular to Black give it range across applications, while multiple stylistic sets including ornate caps, looped alternates and swash variants allow fine control over the overall tone. Discretionary ligatures and a generous glyph set extending to hundreds of Latin-based languages round out the offering.
Classification
A slanted, connected script with high x-height and multiple ornate alternate sets, sitting between casual and formal script traditions without committing fully to either.
