A four-style layered display family designed for chrome and drop-shadow effects, spun off from Hoodzpah's Santa Ana Sans with an all-caps focus.
About
Chapman Ave comprises four complementary styles — Fill, Shadow, Chrome and Corner — intended to be combined for dimensional lettering effects evoking retro chrome signage and metallic typography. OpenType stylistic sets and contextual alternates offer an underlined variant, while mixing upper and lower case introduces further variety. The family was designed by Amy Hood as an all-caps chrome counterpart to Santa Ana Sans.
