The work was commissioned to support the visual communications of Institut finlandais, an independent cultural institute operating between Finland and France in the Quartier Latin. Helsinki Type Studio contributed the typography to a rebrand led by Piëtke Visser, with photography by Sofia Okkonen. Little public detail exists about the typeface itself beyond its role in the identity system.
