Commissioned to complete HSL's typographic palette, the typeface was built specifically for headline use within the transport authority's wider visual identity system. Niklas Ekholm brought nearly a decade of experience as art director on the HSL account at Kokoro & Moi, lending the project a continuity of vision. Helsinki Type Studio delivered the final design as a natural extension of that long-standing relationship.
