A vigorous brush script with bold stroke contrast and a lively, hand-painted character.
About
Jim Nightshade channels the energy of mid-century commercial lettering, with thick-to-thin transitions and fluid connections that give it real typographic presence. It suits display applications such as poster headlines, artisan branding, and editorial pull quotes where an expressive, human touch is wanted. Being a single-weight script, its range of use is naturally limited.
Classification
Jim Nightshade is an energetic brush script with dramatic stroke contrast and a strong calligraphic rhythm. The letterforms lean into an expressive, hand-painted quality with vigorous connections between characters.
