Balsamiq Sans captures the sketchy, informal quality of wireframe mockup lettering, making it immediately recognisable and distinctly casual.
About
Originally designed for Balsamiq's wireframing software, this typeface replicates the hand-scrawled aesthetic of low-fidelity prototypes. Its deliberately imperfect, marker-like letterforms make it a strong choice for informal presentations, playful branding, or anywhere a hand-drawn quality is desired. Cyrillic support broadens its reach beyond Latin-only projects.
Classification
Mimics the look of handwritten, slightly irregular text as if written quickly with a marker. Letterforms are loose and informal, with deliberate imperfection and variable stroke weight.
