Rotio
limitype · Furqan Sudirman and Muhammad Muammar · 2026

Rotio is a single-weight bold display sans-serif built on heavily rounded forms, suited to posters, packaging and branding that calls for warmth and visual weight in equal measure.
About
Released in January 2026 by Indonesian studio limitype, Rotio packs all its character into one weight: a bold, softly rounded sans with consistent curves across every letterform. It reads well at headline scale on posters, covers and packaging, and the extended Latin character set – covering 214 languages – gives it wider reach than most display-only offerings. With no italic, condensed or companion weights, it functions purely as a display accent rather than a workhorse type system.
Classification
Single-weight bold display sans-serif with uniformly rounded terminals and softened geometry throughout. No sharp corners anywhere in the design. Geometric-influenced construction with consistent circular curves. Available in Bold only; no italic, condensed or mono companions. The font file registers weight 400 despite the Bold marketing label, suggesting the demo cuts to one weight. Extended Latin coverage across 214 languages.
