A typewriter-inspired slab serif by Steffen Sauerteig of eBoy, released by FontFont in 1999.
About
FF Typestar takes the even strokes and square serifs of office typewriter type and tidies them up for print and screen. Regular and Black, each with an italic, give it more weight range than a real typewriter face, and alternates and fractions make it workable for text. Good for packaging, editorial and signage that wants a mechanical, documentary tone.
Classification
Typewriter-inspired slab serif in Regular and Black with italics. Part of a super family with FF Typestar OCR.
