Donald Beekman's display family drawn from the lettering on H.P. Berlage's Amsterdam stock exchange.
About
FF Berlage Beurs grew out of Beekman's research into the lettering of H.P. Berlage, the architect often called the father of modern Dutch architecture. Its constructed, slightly angular capitals carry the feel of early 20th-century Amsterdam building inscriptions. Five weights make it practical for signage, cultural identities and posters.
Classification
Display face based on the lettering of Dutch architect H.P. Berlage (1856–1934), chiefly the inscriptions on the Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam's commodities exchange. Five weights, Light to Black. Sister family FF Berlage Burcht follows the lettering of his ANDB building, De Burcht.
