Fb OtHdfus specimen from FontBit

A Hebrew text typeface by Nadav Ezra drawing on the Sephardic calligraphic tradition, designed for sustained reading with a lighter stroke weight than conventional Israeli book faces.

About

Released in 2020, Fb OtHdfus distinguishes itself from established Hebrew text staples like Frank-Rühl and Hadassah through a lighter, more open letter-stroke that reduces text density. The design is rooted in Sephardic rounded calligraphy, with letterforms shaped around their essential formal character to aid rapid word-image recognition. Two weights, Regular and Heavy, are provided.

Classification

A Hebrew book typeface in a calligraphic Sephardic rounded style, with a lighter stroke than traditional Hebrew text faces such as Frank-Rühl and Hadassah, giving text an airier texture suited to extended reading.
