MegaMegaTypeType
An extended geometric sans with softly rounded edges and a retro character, available in four weights with true italics and 20 stylistic sets.
About
Derived from the Sittl style within Facetype's Plaquette package, this standalone release expands the concept into a full family of four weights, each with a carefully drawn italic rather than a mechanical slant. The rounded terminals lend warmth to the geometric construction, making it well suited to logos, brand identities and editorial headlines. Twenty stylistic sets, ligatures and initial and final forms provide considerable flexibility for distinctive typesetting.
Classification
Softly rounded geometric sans with a retro character, built on circular forms and featuring extensive OpenType alternates including geometric, unicase and round variants. The rounded terminals and geometric construction place it firmly in the geometric sans tradition.
