About
Inspired by the display types denounced as aberrations in Thomas C. Hansard's Typographia (1825), Perva treats those historically maligned styles as a celebration of typographic invention. The three subfamilies cover slab serif, reverse-contrast and blackletter, each carrying around 400 glyphs with language coverage across Northern, Western, Central and Southern Europe. OpenType features include case-sensitive forms and alternates for the blackletter style.
