Razom Script
DizajnDesign · 2013

A pointed brush calligraphic script from 2013 that spans three weights, with counters that rotate from vertical to horizontal as the letterforms grow heavier.
About
Razom Script blends printed and handwritten letterforms, drawing from pointed brush calligraphy traditions while exploiting OpenType technology to extend its range. Unusually for a script family, it offers three distinct weights in which the outlines themselves change character: the lightest cut is soft and delicate, while heavier variants take on a fractured, broken quality as counter orientations shift. The family supports an extensive range of Latin-based languages and includes ligatures, fractions, ordinals and localised forms.
Classification
Rooted in pointed brush calligraphy with a blend of printed and handwritten letterforms. The family spans multiple weights, which is unusual for a script typeface, with structural changes to counters and outlines as weight increases.
