Deva Ideal specimen from DizajnDesign

A soft, open sans-serif from 2007 with gently bent strokes, made for books, catalogues and magazines and used for the Slovak EU Presidency identity.

About

Deva Ideal's strokes curve so slightly that the bend is barely visible, which gives it a gentler look than most technical sans-serifs. Its wide, open letterforms stay readable at small sizes, so text can be set smaller to save space. Five weights come with matching italics, plus small caps and a full set of figure styles.

Classification

A text sans-serif with almost imperceptibly curved strokes and wide, open letterforms. Humanist in feel, softer than most technical grotesques.
