sans-serifgeometric sans
Anca specimen from DizajnDesign

A geometric sans-serif with rounded terminals and an intentionally minimal stroke skeleton, originally commissioned for the Fest Anca international animation festival in 2011.

About

Built from the minimum number of strokes, the design produces distinctive letterforms for characters like Q, w, j and the ampersand, giving the family a character distinct from generic geometric sans-serifs. Rounded stroke endings and long ascenders contribute to its light, informal tone, while deliberately irregular strokes prevent it from reading as purely mechanical. The family spans one Solid weight and three Marker variants, suited to headings, short paragraphs and large-scale display use.

Classification

A geometric sans-serif with display characteristics, built on a minimal stroke skeleton with rounded terminals and deliberately irregular strokes. Its playful proportions and unconventional letterforms for Q, w, j and & place it at the intersection of geometric and display styles.
