Dx Ruiga builds on a tension between rigid geometry and approachable letterforms – squared contours, deep apertures and carved inner cuts give headlines presence without aggression. Nine static weights span Thin to Black, backed by a full variable font and five stylistic sets with alternate characters suited to wordmarks and brand lock-ups. Pan-European Latin, Vietnamese and Cyrillic coverage across Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Serbian make it a practical choice for international projects.
Classification
Soft-square geometric sans sitting between brutalist rigidity and humanist warmth. Deep apertures, carved inner cuts and squared terminals give it a contemporary display character. Variable weight axis (Thin–Black) with five stylistic sets including alternate a, g, R, J, Q and simplified digits. Not a strict geometric nor a true humanist – the tension between the two is the design's main proposition.
