RSVP Mono draws from the visual language of analogue typewriter correspondence, combining a lightweight construction with deliberately prominent serifs and carefully placed ink traps that evoke letter impressions on paper. Smooth curves give the letterforms an organic quality that distinguishes them from purely mechanical references. The italic is notably playful relative to the restrained upright.
