A single-weight serifless Didone display face with extreme stroke contrast and consistent angular geometry, aimed squarely at fashion and editorial contexts.
About
Aziga takes the high-contrast vertical stress of a Didone and strips it of serifs, occasionally inverting the contrast to produce an unsettling, deconstructed character. Consistent angles across the glyph set make it suited to abstract typographic arrangements as much as headline-weight fashion layouts. Latin coverage spans around 28 languages including several European and South-East Asian scripts.
Classification
A serifless (with occasional reversed contrast) display face drawing on Didone conventions — extreme stroke contrast and vertical stress — but stripped of serifs and reconstructed with postmodern, deconstructed geometry. Positioned explicitly as a sans Didone for fashion and editorial use.
