Aeonik Mono
CoType Foundry · Joe Leadbeater, Mark Bloom · 2022

A fixed-pitch companion to Aeonik that locks the family's Swiss grotesque geometry into an eight-weight monospaced system with broad Latin, Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese coverage.
About
Aeonik Mono fits every glyph into a strict 620-unit grid while preserving the parent family's closed apertures and perpendicular stroke endings, adding disambiguation serifs to i, j, l and I. Eight weights run from Air to Black, with OpenType features including boxed and circled numerals, three arrow sets and alternates for a, f, y, J, Q, 7 and the ampersand. Language support spans most European Latin scripts, Vietnamese, Cyrillic and Greek, making it well suited to technical, interface and code-adjacent work.
Classification
Fixed-pitch companion to the Aeonik neo-grotesque family; each character set at 620 units wide; disambiguation serifs added to i, j, l and I while closed apertures and perpendicular stroke endings from the parent design are preserved. Combines neo-grotesque precision with geometric proportions.
