Originally begun as a cancelled custom project, Lovesong was completed for Richard Turley's guest editorship of It's Nice That in August 2022. Reyes tempers the bouncier qualities of its source material, making it more controlled at display sizes and functional when set in capitals. It is part of Commercial Type's Vault, a collection of previously unreleased or custom typefaces, and carries a limited character set accordingly.
