Around A began as a custom face for the Mudéjar Hotel in Cali, Colombia, formalising a parallel between Arabic script connectivity and Latin geometric sans letterforms drawn from Kabel, Erbar-Grotesk and Futura. Five weights combine circular bowls with sharp-apex capitals for a warm, nostalgic geometric sans.
Classification
