An all-caps monolinear sans in two weights, originally designed in 2009 and substantially reworked for its 2.0 release in 2021, distinguished by overtly rounded terminals.
About
BWord draws on a decade-old design by Matt Willey, reworked with assistance from Diana Ovezea for the 2021 release. The typeface operates strictly in capitals, with monolinear strokes and rounded terminals that give it a soft, almost geometric character. Two weights, Regular and Bold, are supported across a broad Latin character set with diacritics, figures and a set of lowercase alternates.
Classification
An all-caps monolinear sans with overtly rounded terminals, giving it a display character distinct from functional grotesques or humanist sans families. The geometric, even stroke weight and rounded details place it firmly in display territory.
