Industria LT Pro specimen from Brody Fonts

A condensed geometric sans from 1989, drawn during Brody's magazine years and adopted widely by record labels and sleeve designers.

About

Industria compresses a geometric sans until the curves square off, producing a narrow capital that stacks well and sets tight. It arrived through editorial work and moved quickly into music graphics, where its combination of severity and warmth suited sleeves and labels. The Inline cut opens the stems for use at larger sizes.

Classification

A tightly condensed geometric sans with squared curves and a high waist. Sans-serif rather than display: it holds at moderate text sizes, though the compression suits headline setting.
