BF Popaganda
Brody Fonts · Neville Brody · 2020

A heavy geometric display face drawn for repetition, where circular bowls and slotted counters lock into grids of tiled type.
About
Popaganda is built for mass and pattern. The bowls are near-perfect circles and the counters are cut with narrow slots, so that when the face is set large and repeated it reads as texture before it reads as words. It draws on the visual language of protest printing and concrete poetry, where the arrangement of type carries as much of the message as the text.
Classification
A very heavy geometric display face with circular bowls and slots cut through the counters. Display: the weight and the counter treatment are designed for tiled, poster-scale setting.
